Services · Full-Service Shop
FAA-certified A&P and IA mechanics keeping your aircraft airworthy. Serving the Harford County Airport community since 1996 — from routine annuals to complex repairs.
Specialty Credential
Our shop includes a Cirrus factory-trained mechanic — qualified to service SR20 and SR22 aircraft including CAPS parachute system inspections. Cirrus owners at 0W3 don't have to fly to a specialty shop.
About Our Shop
Harford Air's maintenance operation is run by FAA-certified Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) mechanics with Inspection Authorization (IA). Our team maintains Harford Air's own 12-aircraft fleet — which means we work on these airplanes every single day and know them inside and out.
We're based at Harford County Airport (0W3) and available to the local flying community for everything from routine oil changes and annual inspections to more complex avionics work, engine troubleshooting, and airframe repairs.
If you keep your aircraft at 0W3 or nearby, there's no need to fly to a distant shop. Call us to schedule work and we'll fit you in around your schedule.
Full annual inspections performed by IA-certified mechanics. We know what to look for and we document everything properly.
Required for aircraft operating for hire. We keep your aircraft legal and airworthy on the rental and instruction fleet schedule.
Oil changes, compression checks, magneto service, spark plug replacement, and engine troubleshooting on piston singles and twins.
Structural inspections, sheet metal work, landing gear service, and corrosion treatment on fabric and aluminum aircraft.
We work with local avionics shops for panel upgrades, transponder certifications, and IFR equipment installations.
All work properly documented in aircraft logs with IA sign-offs. Airworthiness Directives tracked and complied with.

Regulatory Compliance
Keeping your aircraft legally airworthy means more than just fixing what's broken. Our IA mechanics track Airworthiness Directives (ADs) applicable to your aircraft and powerplant, and ensure all required inspections are completed on time.
For IFR-equipped aircraft, we coordinate pitot-static and transponder certifications required under FAR 91.411 and 91.413, typically every 24 calendar months.
