Cessna 172 Skyhawk

The Skyhawk is a more powerful upgrade to the older “M” models. This plane has an upgraded Lycoming IO-360-L2A (fuel injected) engine that puts out 180 HP. A little more ‘peppy’ than your standard grandpa’s Skyhawk. As a result, the maximum gross weight was increased to 2,550 lbs and there is a bit more room inside too.

Our two Skyhawk SP are an ideal IFR training aircraft and have dual NAV/COMs, a moving map GPS, digital Mode C Transponder, and the all important leather seats. Whether you’re taking friends up for a ride or practicing an ILS approach, this airplane is a strong performer.

Skyhawk N419SP has a Garmin 530, Mode S transponder, and traffic and weather!
Skyhawk N647SP has a King KLN89b moving map GPS.
